So, I always have about 447 different projects in my head that I'd love to try my hand at. I'm not really that crafty...but I LOVE trying out these things that I make up in my head (or trying to copy other's amazing creations!!!)
But today, in googling a tutorial for some help on a sewing project that I wanted to try for Olivia...this is what I find at the end of the tutorial...
Tip:
If you aren't experienced in sewing, get someone to help you who is.
Simple as that! I am NOT experienced. I make things up as I go. I've never really even followed a pattern. Maybe I should stop pretending I can do all these things. I mean really, does anyone who is 'experienced' really need to google things to be able to sew? Seriously?!?!?
But on the other hand...I might as well try, right??? Really, it's only a pair of old jeans with holes in the knees at stake here. But yes, I fully acknowledge that I HAVE BEEN WARNED! :)

At least you know how to use a sewing machine! My sewing knowledge is limited to needle and thread. Good luck!
Good luck with the project. That is a fair warning! I think it takes me longer to read and understand the instructions than it does to actually make the item. Patterns are very confusing! Be sure to post what you're making! I love new projects!
They probably don't want to be held accountable if you sew over your hand or something, or end up in tears because you can't thread your machine.
Really funny. Maybe you should try to send them a bill if the jeans get ruined in the process. Definitely post it if it works out.
