The 'Do'!

So, Olivia got her first dose of pig-tails today.  And I have to admit...it was pretty much the cutest thing I have ever seen! She all of a sudden looked sooo old...no more my baby, now my crazy toddler who is more independent than I've ever imagined.  (Well independence crammed into an extremely clingy/attached-to-my-hip body!)

I fell in love with her cute hair...and so did she.  She couldn't wait to show Garrett when he got home and Steve too!  

On a similar note...E had fun doing his hair this morning too.  He wanted mohawk hair.  He was so excited and kept checking to make sure it was still standing up.  :)  I even found these pics on my camera.  Apparently he wanted to make sure this momentous day was documented as well!

But that's okay...'cause this kid's joy is enough for us all!

getting him back

Ethan loves his little sister...and shows it all day long!  Many times a day, he hugs her so much that she is knocked to the ground and is reduced to tears!  Poor girl!

But the other morning...Olivia got him back.  She wouldn't let go of his neck and kept trying to kiss his cheek!  He just wanted to get away...but she kept coming back for more!  :)

I LOVE watching these two play together!

Park Time

I've been taking the kids to the park in the mornings lately...the only time to beat the heat!  Olivia LOVES the swings and Ethan has ventured on to new things as well, like taking on the 'rock' wall!
