Cheese!

As I'm making enchiladas the other night, the following conversation occurred...

Olivia - Mommy, tan I help took dinner?  (Can I help cook dinner?)

Me - Sure honey!  But let's move the stool over here (as I move it away from the hot stove where she is currently trying to place it!!!)

Olivia - (seeing what's on the counter)  Oooohhhhh!  Cheese!

Me - Yep, we're grating cheese for our dinner. (as I turn away to wash a bowl at the sink)

Olivia - Yeah!  I love cheese!

Olivia - (Silence)

Olivia - (runs out of the room) I'm going to pway (play) upstairs.

Me - Okay...see ya!

Upon returning to the cheese counter, this is the 'help' that I discover has occurred in the 30 seconds that I had my back turned.

Very helpful indeed!

That's my girl(s). I would probably be inclined to do the same thing . . . including the running upstairs to "pway". Wish love to be there with the kids and you and your delicious dinner!!!
